KUALA LUMPUR: Perodua has introduced a RM2 million Body and Paint (B&P) centre in Kelantan to cater to the needs of its valued East Coast customers, owned and operated by long-time Perodua dealer, Nasrom (M) Sdn Bhd.
The facility, the 66th centre in the country, is sprawled over 17,000 sq ft in Kg Padang Kala, Peringat District, Kota Bharu, and is capable of mending up to 1,080 cars annually, Perodua said in a statement today.
Managing Director Datuk Dr Zahari Husin said the new facility would assure customers of quality workmanship and genuine parts in the repair of their cars.
“We acknowledge and appreciate the investment by Nasrom (M) Sdn Bhd, as well as, their commitment towards the needs of our valued customers,” he said, adding that Perodua would continue to look into further improving the capacity of its existing B&P facilities or establish new facilities to fulfil the needs of over 3.2 million Perodua vehicle owners, nationwide.
“In addition to enhancing convenience for our customers, this new facility also symbolises our commitment to grow the local automotive eco-system, especially independent dealers like Nasrom (M) Sdn Bhd,” he added.
