PETALING JAYA: Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah has given his undivided support to Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak after signing the Kelantan Declaration along with other state Barisan Nasional representatives.
The Gua Musang MP was pictured with other Barisan representatives signing a document that was named the Kelantan Declaration by Mara chairman Tan Sri Annuar Musa, who uploaded the picture on his Facebook page yesterday.
In the Facebook post, Annuar, who is also Ketereh MP, said Tengku Razaleigh had signed the declaration, which meant that he was giving his undivided support to Najib.
In a second post on his page, Annuar said a meeting was held between Najib and Barisan representatives from Kelantan yesterday, although he did not state where the meeting took place.
He said the meeting was also meant to highlight issues facing the people of Kelantan, including a request for an airport expansion, oil royalties and the Gua Musang-Kota Bharu highway.
Also present at the signing of the declaration was International Trade and Industry Minister Datuk Seri Mustapa Mohamad.
Previously, Tengku Razaleigh had denied rumours that he supported the signing of the citizens’ declaration, adding that he did not even know about it.
Tengku Razaleigh had also said that he did not want to be dragged into the issue over proposals to sack Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin and Datuk Seri Mukhriz Mahathir from Umno.
